Western Australia Holiday - Day 5 (Part 1)

Day 5

Good morning Day 5!  We planned to have lunch outside so we skipped our usual morning preparation of our packed lunch.

First stop of the day was Anniebrooke Flower Farm.

Lots of sheep at at the farm

Plenty of artificial flowers at the shop but no "real" flowers. *sigh*.  Just not the right season.  But nevermind, there was another attraction - Goats!

Elyssa and Erin happily feeding the goats
Spent quite a lot of time there. Girls were happy to give, goats were happy to take   :-)
We just plucked grass from our side of the fence to give the goats.  Case of "grass is greener on the other side"?  Hehe.

Munch , Munch

There was a small vineyard there too
My 3rd visit to Aussie and I've yet to see a single grape on the grapevines!

Next stop : Protea Farm.  Uhm..we tot it was a tea farm. Turned out that it was a type of flower  ;-)
Protea Flowers

Nothing much at the Protea farm, so we proceeded to the next attraction for the day : Wonky Windmill Farm

The namesake Wonky Windmill

Decided on a quick morning snack before the farm tour
Pumpkin soup, scones and meat rolls

And then the farm feeding adventure began!

Erin giving milk to the lambs

Elyssa with a hamster

Miniature Horse

Sheep. Baaa Baaaa.....

Uhmm... forgot the name.  But isn't it cute?

Hubby with a friendly goat

Pigs
We stayed far away from 'em!

After Wonky Windmill, we headed to Bootleg Brewery

Love the view!

With our beers  :-)

Yam Seng!

Wefie with Elyssa  :-)
