Elyssa is 11 !
Whatttt…. my baby girl is 11 years old now?
Time really, really flies !!!
4 of us
Blow your candles darling!
Mummy's imperfect cake again, but made with loads of love.
I kept asking her whether she wanted a store bought cake but she kept on saying she wanted mummy to make :-)
We went for dinner at Texas Chicken. And then on to the highlight for the kiddos - one hour climb at Funtopia.
Elyssa climbing this moving structure
I think her gymnastics practice helps
All tired and sweaty after the one hour climb
Glad they all had fun.
Happy Birthday my darling Elyssa! I've been so busy and stressed out at work recently. And one of my biggest supporter is my big princess, often saying "Mummy, you can do it!" ,"Don't give up!", "Jia You", "Good job, Mummy!". I'm often amazed at how thoughtful and matured she can be.
Mummy loves you to the moon and back :-)

Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019
Happy New Year 2019 !
I know I say this every single year, and here I go again........ I can't believe another year has flown by! Where did all the time go?
And time for reflections again before I launch into the new year. 2018 - let's see, how did the year go? I must say I am grateful for another good year. Ups and downs as per the norm, but still a good year. One thing that comes to mind is that it's the year I went for the most holidays ever! Haha.
1. February 2018 - Bali CNY holiday with my in-laws
2. March 2018 - Phuket holiday, just the 4 of us. To utilise our free vacation club stay :-)
3. April 2018 - Seoul, Korea holiday. Girlie trip with 3 of my ex-uni mates. No kiddos, no hubbies!
4. July 2018 - Bangkok for a work conference. Won an award! Extended 2 days for holiday.
5. August 2018 - Melbourne holiday with my parents
6. September 2018 - Mulu holiday, just hubs and I. Our first couple holiday since the kiddos came along!
7. October 2018 - Osaka and Kyoto holiday. My first ever solo trip! One of the best trips of my life.
That's like a holiday almost every 1.5 months. hehe. So many eh? But each was with a different group. Some pre-planned and some was actually a very last minute thing (like my Japan holiday)
As I scrolled through the photo album in phone looking for the photos above, I am reminded of all the other lovely memories of 2018.
2018 was another milestone year for me as I decided to take a leap of faith yet again - resigned in September 2018 and started new role in December 2018. It wasn't an easy decision and there were loads of emotions involved. Fingers crossed that it was the right decision! It has been tough adjusting to the new role and I sense tougher times ahead, but well I do believe in one thing.... we never know how strong we can be!
Thank you 2018 for being a good year. There were things I wished I could have done more of course. But I am indeed grateful for the past year.
And I am ready to embrace the new year.
Bring it on 2019!

Melboure Holiday 2018 (Day 9)
Good Morning Day 9!
Jutz photos today :
At the front of Comfort Inn
It was a comfortable 1 night stay. Only downside was 1 toilet for all 6 of us.
Road trip begins
All 6 of us!
One of the lovely paths
Jump!
Another Jump!
Two of the 12 Apostles behind me
We walked all the way down!
Twelve Apostles - Port Campbell National Park
Girls with Ah Kong and Ah Mah
Love their happy, sisterly moments!
Verdict? After all the hype, a tad disappointing actually. We were not exactly bowled over. Maybe had too high expectations on 12 Apostles and Great Ocean Road.
Next stop - Late lunch
View from lunch area
Cheers!
Posing :-)
Having fun with more jump shots
Somehow enjoyed this quiet bay more than 12 Apostles :-)
Headed towards Melbourne Airport after that. Last accommodation for the trip - Discovery Park, less than 30 mins from the airport. Our first time staying at a trailer park and we were pretty fascinated.
Standard cabin for 6 pax
1 double bed in main area
2 double decker beds in the room
Oh ya, Lola got selected to go on this holiday!
Happy that they got to eat Maggi noodles for dinner :-)
Good night Day 9!
____
Only 2 photos from Day 10 since we had an early morning flight. Dropped off the car at the car rental place (it was super cold!) and then took their shuttle van to the airport.
Another awesome holiday!!
And I am finally done with my holiday post.... 3 months after the holiday! Haha.
