1)1st stop - Taman Rekreasi Gunung Lang
Our first time there.
Nice and serene place
BUT boats were not working so couldn't go across the lake like we planned to.
Only other activity was to feed fish (*yawn*)
Luckily, Elyssa enjoyed it.
She spent almost 20 minutes throwing the fish biscuit ONE-by-ONE into the water.

2) Next stop was to Ling Seng Tong cave.
I've been there a couple of times before. Nicer than the more famous Sam Poh Tong.

More fish feeding
With Elyssa's ONE-by-ONE feeding, the RM1 packet of fish food (bought at our first stop) lasted very long!

Our "sightseeing" ended with late lunch at Nam Heong kopitiam for fried kway teow and white coffee. I wanted their famous egg tarts but there was a long queue so I didn't bother.
That night, Elyssa had a fun time jumping on the hotel bed like a little monkey. She happily sang the "5 little monkeys jumping on the bed" song :)

Oh, I also went back to Ipoh on wednesday for one night, coz my grandpa had a nasty fall on Wednesday morning that left him with a broken bone on right leg, he just went for op today. I also took the opportunity to stuff myself with Ipoh tau fu fah and curry noodle, and fu San egg tart. No chance for other stuff.
How is your hubby's grandma?
Hehe Elyssa is so patient to throw in the fish food 1 by 1. Isn't this better than her emptying the whole packet at once... at least it's not gone in 2 seconds :)
Bed-jumping in hotels is a "must" for Chloe too hehe. Her daddy allows it cos it's forbidden at home ;)
Irene - thx..his grandma is fine. Actually, his aunt called up on Fri nite to say we don't have to go back, but then we tot just go ahead la.
HL - he he. Exactly the same for us. No jumping on bed at home!
Adrine, grandpa went for operation on Friday morning, he is recuperating still in hospital now, and my aunts and mom all taking turns to do the night shift.
