What is Verdic Math?
Math Monkey’s curriculum is based on the mathematical techniques of Vedic Math. Vedic Mathematics is the collective name given to a set of 16 sutras (or formulas) stemming from the Vedic period from 1500 to 800 B.C. These sutras were originally written in Sanskrit and are build on the foundations of rigorous logic, thereby helping to guide and hone the human mind into approaches of logical reasoning. By mastering these sutras, student s are given numerous ways to work out a problem and many problems can be easily worked out mentally and quickly.



What makes Math Monkey different from other learning centers?
There are many differences. First, it's a game based program and the children have fun while interacting with other children. Fun is the key to learning! Second, we are based on the ancient Indian art of Vedic Mathematics. The short cuts and tools used in Vedic are second to none and open the door to a new way of learning for children.
